Seattle, March 13, 2012: Dexter + Chaney ( www.dexterchaney.com), maker of Spectrum® Construction Software and the recently launched  Venture™ Project Collaboration Software, is pleased to announce that Bluebeam Software ( www.bluebeam.com) will be participating in the Dexter + Chaney Users’ Conference in Seattle April 26-27, 2012.  Bluebeam, leading developer of PDF-based workflow solutions for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries, will contribute to the construction operations course track at the event, including the presentation on the topic of digitizing project collaboration using their platform solution, Revu®.

“We are thrilled to have Bluebeam as a solution partner for our annual conference this year,” said John Chaney, president of Dexter + Chaney.  “Their industry expertise and software solutions dovetail perfectly with the mission of our Operations Group and our new Venture product line.”  The Dexter + Chaney Operations Group delivers unique construction software products to address the changing needs of operations professionals.  Venture, the first product from this group, provides contractors and their project teams with a collaborative online work environment, which includes Document Management, for the entire life of a project, and has already received a 2012 Most Innovative Products (MIP) Award during its launch at  World of Concrete 2012.

“Bluebeam PDF Revu is a great complement to the Venture platform, giving users an unmatched ability to markup and share construction documents,” said Stephani Haynes, vice president of global marketing.  “We’re excited to be joining forces with Dexter + Chaney’s Operations Group to provide innovative workflow solutions to their clients.”  Revu gives users powerful tools for the creation, markup, and editing of PDF documents, helping create paperless processes for a variety of project workflows including design reviews, bids and estimates, RFIs, submittals, and punchlists.

2012 marks the 16th consecutive year that Dexter + Chaney has held a Users’ Conference for clients and partners.  During the two-day event at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle, hundreds of contractors and industry professionals choose from over 40 unique courses and attend numerous networking events.  “This year’s event is shaping up to be among the best ever,” said Chaney. “We appreciate the commitment made to join us by so many of our clients from around the country, so we pull out the stops to deliver the best learning and networking experience we can.”
