Twelve of these courses are also registered for Sustainable Design credits which are now a mandatory element of the program and AIA membership.

AIA members can now receive Learning Hour Units when undertaking the majority of IES training courses. Its expertise in sustainable design analysis will help educate AIA members on how to leave a greener footprint within all stages of design. The IES AIA CES registered training courses include sessions on solar analysis, artificial/daylighting design, and natural ventilation analysis, among others. The free online introduction to IES is also AIA CES registered; it provides 1 Learning Unit Hour and also counts towards the mandatory Sustainable Design credits.
