Dame Zaha Hadid, the Iraqi-born architect who was the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize for architecture, died last Thursday in Miami at the age of 65. Hadid died of a sudden heart attack while being treated for bronchitis in the hospital, according to her office, Zaha Hadid Architects in London.

Bentley is a private company and uses the opportunity to highlight its annual accomplishments such as its involvement in trends and new products. Bentley is a leader in the market in the areas of electric power generation, electric power transmission, distribution and communications; water and wastewater distribution, EPC and AEC, and mining and metals.
The number of large scale construction projects that are implementing building information modeling for collaboration, integrated project delivery and lifecycle management is growing all the time.
The winner of the “Innovation in Building” Category in the Bentley Be Inspired Awards held in London during the “Year in Infrastructure 2013” event this month was the Cancer Treatment Centre for Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospitals, London.
