When the CABINN Metro hotel opens in early 2010 it will be the largest hotel in Denmark and a new landmark for Copenhagen.  The hotel is located in the north-west corner of Copenhagen’s fast-growing city quarter, Orestad.

Adjacent to a central transportation artery for the city of Beirut, and situated at the nexus of two urban fabrics, this design negotiates issues of scale, unit diversity, views and zoning regulations. Stacked glass boxes emerge from a massing, which is positioned to maximize buildable area.

World Business Center Solomon Tower in Busan, South Korea by Asymptote Architecture

Asymptote has been commissioned to build the World Business Center Solomon Tower through an international design competition sponsored by the Municipality of Busan City and the Solomon Group. Asymptote’s groundbreaking design of three separate, tapered towers rising out of a robust and powerful base will be among the tallest buildings in Asia at 550m. The World Busniess Center Solomon Tower was recently awarded the 2008 American Architecture Award by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
