House in Fuji, Japan by LEVEL Architects

There are formed the slope of an angle of 30 degree as breakwater in the project site of north side. Over the slope, there are a nature park, then, it can be seen Mt.Fuji clearly.  The slope and park, and these sight are very attractive as one of scene, however, to get in these scene to the house, it is necessary to control of eyes of which people come and go on there.

The Houses of Gösta – Serlachius Museum Gösta extension

The Joenniemi Manor area, its buildings and its park, create at the moment a unique ensemble, whereby the qualities of buildings and nature reinforce each other.

The manor’s main building, the residential palace built by Gösta Serlachius, is the natural focal point of the ensemble and hosts since 1945 the Gösta Serlachius Art Collection, one of the Nordic countries’ most significant private collections.

Agency for Inland Waterways in Vukovar, Croatia by Urbane Tehnike

Agency for Inland Waterways’ new headquarters building in Vukovar acquires central status within a new redefined city center after the 1990’s war. Public routes direct visitors to sightseeing area with magnificent views of river Dunav and Vukovar City centre. Ground floor level encompasses restaurant with an info deck oriented towards island plateau and river Dunav, as well as areas for different sport associations (anglers sport club, nautical and diving club) oriented towards winter harbour and area for maintenance of river cruisers and boats.

Les Franqueses del Vallès in Barcelona, Spain by CPVA Arquitectes

The area where the house is built is located in the Valles Oriental region, in a homming state zone in the edge between the humanized landscape and the Natural Park of Montseny, being also an archeological interest zone with marks of ancient Iberian and roman villages. The north face of the  house has amazing views of the natural undeveloped land that includes sights from “Tibidabo”(Barcelona) to the “Turó de l’home” a peak about 2.000m in the Montseny park.

The concept of the overlapping spatial structure, open to the outside as well as inside, with symbiotically conjoined resitential and office accomodation units is not merely a lip service here, it runs throughout all parts of the building – the spatial solution appeared that beneficial to the architects to occupy it by themselves.
