Year of 2005, a small pretty building was finishing its role as a church. People loved the building for more than 50 years but they had to decide to tear it down because of its structural and some functional problem, in other words, simply too old. Children of God need new building for the church with its pastorate and kindergarten for next 50 years.

Humlegården apartment in Stockholm, Sweden by Tham & Videgård Arkitekter

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Article source: Tham & Videgård Arkitekter

Oversized and multicoloured parquet – a spatial idea.

Departing from Swedish traditional use of colours and patterns, this apartment design is inspired by the unusual quality of the location at the park Humlegården. A long row of rooms relate to the massive greenery outside. Light and colour change with the season and become very present in the interior spaces; from winter grey and black, through summertime bright and deep greens, to orange, red and yellow in autumn.

Symbiosis Designs LTD wins design competition to build Techno Group Headquarters in Amman

The building massing concept created a negative space that would be a certain interruption to the continuous street frontal façades; hence a specific and differentiated visual field is announced where the void becomes a captive. The negative field is the primary focal point staging majestic trees. Through the building’s homogenous material expression, the steel structural skin is also a grounding continuum and an assurance of rigor, visual noise reduction and simplicity.

Blue Room for Ohne Titel by Barker Freeman Design Office designed using Rhino and V-Ray

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

Article source: Barker Freeman Design Office

BLUE ROOM is an installation proposal that translates and complement the brand’s juxtaposition of soft silhouette and architectural lines in their work into the scale of the retail environment.  We began with an idea about the insertion of a translucent lining that would contrast with the rectilinear envelope of the existing space and act as an atmospheric veil to separate and define areas for the display of merchandise.
