A new residence located in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood designed as a simple three-story form wrapped in a cedar rainscreen and stretched across the width of the property to maximize views west toward Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Spaces are arranged according to the importance of prospect and refuge.
Many families in Michigan share a tradition of spending weekends and vacations in cottages adjacent to the state’s collection of lakes. Higgins Lake is considered one of the most spectacular of the inland lakes and the empty-nester’s who commissioned this cottage wanted to be able to share this resource with their large family and many friends. In order to do so, they requested a large gathering area for cooking, eating and relaxing and space to sleep twenty adults.

Parcel is situated on the outskirts of the town (SE part), morphologically a quite specific heterogeneous environment. A morphology of single volume building is presented by transformation of forms which unite the logic of existing elements of greenhouse/train/hangar and architectural interpretation of the facilities. Western facade represents the view of the building’s section itself on that very position. Northern and southern facades are perforated by a random pattern of openings, giving two-way lighting to the interior. Night brings the inverse effect, as the luminous projections on the cylinder create a dotted morphology for the mono-volume building.Roof cover is kal-zip steel sheet.bearing structure is made out of equal prefabricated reinforced concrete arched elements that are shortened at their bottom. Internal office area has bearing composite structure (steel + reinforced concrete).

An organic restaurant located on Jiyu Street, which is a short walk from Komazawa Park, one of the biggest parks in Tokyo.
-The restaurant is on the ground floor (half-underground) of a three-story apartment building (reinforced concrete).
Since it is located in a residential area, there are not so many people on the street.
But on the weekend, there are many people walking who go to Komazawa Park for a picnic, especially in good seasons.
– It has three functions such as a takeout, an organic food shop and a restaurant.
– The most distinctive feature of the premises lies in its floor level, which is 1.61m below the ground level of entrance. And the height of the premises is 4.39m.
North of Viana do Castelo, between mountains and sea, Afife has a wonderful scenery of landscapes that interlock perfectly. When the client was to show me he had bought the land, could not help but be surprised by the fantastic panoramic view that of it in sight of the sea.
We envisage a university with a clear and independent identity, standing out as a distinctive landmark in Reykjavík.
We envisage a university which respects its unique location in the landscape and adds value and character to the area.
We envisage a university which is flexible and receptive to future changes, yet characterised at the same time by a clear, well-planned structure, with a defined centre to act as its heart and hearth.
We envisage a university which promotes innovation and the sharing of knowledge and which distinguishes itself on the international stage.
We envisage a university which embraces variety and openness, and will become a prominent factor in Reykjavík’s social and cultural life.
We envisage a university which lives up to its name as a UniverCity.
We envisage a university with the students at its heart.
Perched on the edge of the Scarborough Bluffs, the dramatic views afforded by this site encompass lake and sky through the tall trunks of mature trees. The foundations of the owner’s childhood home have been reused to create a new residence that celebrates this spectacular location. This allowed us to leave the trees, some of which are growing very close to the house, untouched.

This is a house where deaf parents and two children are living.
The two sides of the premises are facing narrow roads in an overcrowded residential area in Itabashi ward, Tokyo. The small main building built five years ago became so narrow for dwellers for three generations that they bought a piece of land neighber to their house to build an annex.

Science Tower for the Panum Complex, PArt of the university of Copenhagen
Science tower and urban park in the heart of Copenhagen – the winning proposal for the extension of the Panum complex
C. F. Møller Architects, together with SLA and Rambøll, have been selected by a unanimous jury as the winners of a large and prestigious competition to design an extension to the University of Copenhagen’s Panum complex on Blegdamsvej in the heart of Copenhagen.
The extension of the Panum complex has been designed with the aim of creating the best possible environment for modern research and teaching. A parallel objective has been to create a building which will stand out as an identity-creating, sculptural linchpin for the entire Panum complex and the university’s Nørre Campus (i.e. the North Campus) as a whole. The new complex is also intended to act as the generator of a positive urban development in its immediate neighbourhood and in relation to the entire city.
Krueck + Sexton’s architectural design vision for 1100 First Street re-defines the expectations of the speculative office building in Washington, D.C. Organized as two distinct 350,000 square foot blocks on a 1.7 acre site, the forms of this glass-clad building pair are subtly manipulated to emphasize verticality and activate a dynamic courtyard at the center of the complex. This space brings natural light deep into the site and identifies the building’s main entry.
