New tower museum uses Green Cell as a symbol for Yingge and New Taipei City. The cells consist of diverse materials, aggrupated in different functions, in order to adapt to different programmatic needs.A new technology based on a double skin is proposed for the museum. It serves as structure but also plays a key role in environmental sustainability. It provides a chance to regenerate and redefine the urban scape.

Extension to city
We believe that this museum will not end in the mere exhibition of art. The CELL serve as a strategy to add more significance to the urban tissue, emerging as a new symbol. A pavilion in the park, shops, urban furniture and other public programs can be embraced by the pattern.

A center of Yingge
The main hall connects not only the museums but manages all the fluxes of the territory: train station, cable car, riverbank path, city and museum merge in this void, energizing the urban space.

Steel mesh Green Cells besides structural elements, they also serve as a framework for the skin which accommodates greenery, soil, LED screens, ETFE and photovoltaic pannels.

In-between space
The use of a double layer skin creates an in-between space which increases the flexibility for exhibition, and addresses the specificities of the Taiwanese climate.
