Spaceport America serves to provide a fitting platform for appreciation of our world’s most intelligent minds and brave pioneers whilst offering an insightful glimpse of our magnificent universe.  Just a few kilometers distance separates the visitors from the Outpost Centers and operational THF spaceport one where visitors can witness miraculous spaceship launches at a touching distance.

Upon arrival and entering the VIP guest zone, one immediately encounters a stunning and dramatic view like no other, with a surreal visualization of liquid metal sculptures to reflect the daring nature and uniqueness interacting with orbital space. These inspiring spheres, is built with pivotal functions of retail and leisure capacity, but also elegantly considered with mechanisms in conserving  energy through photovoltaic panels, rainwater harvesting, as well as solar and hybrid cooling.

JLC Proposal for Spaceport America

Spaceport America is the world’s first purpose-built, commercial spaceport, intended to be the launchpad of the global commercial spaceflight industry and the second space age. One of the New Mexico Spaceport Authority’s goals for Spaceport America describes creating a truly unique destination with an “out of this world” experience, stimulating domestic and international tourism in New Mexico.

The visitor experience will occur in several locations, and may include one or more of the following: two off-site” welcome Centers” on nearby Interstate-25 serving as transportation hubs, an on-site “Visitor Complex” with indoor/outdoor activities, transportation in between off-and on-site, an entrance/security facility to the spaceport property, and various “outposts” on-site, including a 4000 square foot gallery space within the Virgin Galactic Terminal Hangar Facility.
