Michel Bourdeau was born November 23, 1955. He grew up in Marseille and Paris where he will fulfill his secondary and higher education. He joined the School of Architecture of the Grand Palais (UP7) in 1974 and the School of Architecture Chevaleret-Belleville (UP8) in 1978 where he studied mainly under the leadership of Henri Ciriani. He interrupted his studies in Paris in 1979 to one year of study in Florence, where he designed his first contest, one of Trou des Halles, which will be one of five winners. UP8 then he returned in January 1983 and will get his degree in architecture DPLG with high honors and honors under the chairmanship of Vittorio Gregotti.
He then went to work one year at Richard Meier in New York. Back in Paris, he is responsible under “architecture” for journals Monitor and AMC. At the same time he studied the history of the territories of Paul Chemetov at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. It comes with support offered by the state to graduates: Albums de la Jeune Architecture (1984) and the New Architecture PAN 13 (1985). He has won both contests and thus obtain its first order in Paris. He founded the agency MB / A ARCHITECTURE Michel Bourdeau.
He was an associate teacher for four years in France and visiting professor abroad. It supports a DEA in 1993 in architecture and urban planning under the direction of Jean-Louis Cohen historian. From 2004 to 2008 he made several missions for NGOs and built two buildings in Dakar. He obtained a certification in 2009 “Standards HQE and Environmental Management.” Involved in the voluntary and is a member of the Economic Council of St. Germain de Charonne in Paris. It is 2011 Project Director of the Centre National Archives of Pierrefitte for the Paris branch of Massimiliano Fuksas (Ministry of Culture Client).
