RAILWAY CONTROL CENTRE – HIGH SPEED LINE MADRID-LEVANTE.

“…wise as the serpents, simple as the doves” (matthew 10:16)

The building is categorical on its implantation, an auxiliar plot nearby the albacete station railways. The proposal gets presence without stridencies, with discretion. The building has to solve a multiuse program, it also has to be a very symbolical landmark.

Ruta del Peregrino Refugies in Jalisco, México by Luis Aldrete | arquitecto

Ruta del Peregrino Refugies

The strategy consists of a series of base modules which can be multiplied in order to give form to the project, and which make the project capable of adaptation and growth. The atmosphere makes sense when two kind of pieces made of ‘adobe clay’ color –which is one of the predominant colors of the region- configure space. One of them is an essential piece to perform a lattice perimeter at the buildings that reflect the play of light and shadows created by the roofs of oak leaves used in most of the rest of the surroundings, which contain a great deal of sensitivity and space quality.

Mederu – Auto Repair Shop in Nigata, Japan by Daigo Ishii + Future-scape Architects

Article source: Mederu – Auto Repair Shop

It locates in the suburb of Nigata City as one of the big cities in Japan. The factory is used by the factory staff and the users who like to repair and remodel car by oneself. In the suburb of Nigata City, many suburbian architectures appear. The majority is classified in ‘the commercial establishment with strong color and fanciful form’ and ‘the monotonous offices and warehouses which have no interest of design and is finished with grey or beige color’. We intended to design a new suburbian architecture that reflects the character of the suburb but was neither involved in the fancifulness competition nor was different from the monotonous office.

Jewelry Mayrhofer in Linz, Austria by X Architekten

The most interesting trends in the design of shops are concerned with the coherence of the products and their environment – thus the space in which they are presented. Furthermore do we understand shop design as a part of corporate identity, as an instrument of communication for contents and aims. The concept bases on the intention to define space as a sensually perceptive phenomenon and connect it closely to the jewellers manifacts.
