The house
The architecture of the house had to follow strict building regulations including the house geometry or specific colors or materials which were dictated by local authorities, to reach traditional vernacular architecture. House Playa Las Palmeras in Lima, Peru by RRMR Arquitectos

Tuesday, July 31st, 2012

Article source: RRMR Arquitectos

The design is proposed in a compact stretch of land as a part of a residential development located in the deserted coast on the outskirt of Lima.  This development is 120km away from Lima City.

The house benefits from the increasing slope to create a sculptural and aesthetic volume. The plot is located besides an open park. Despite the compact character one can see the lightness and dynamic properties of the volume, characteristics that strengthen its relation with the public park.
