The 8 storey building has a unique design which uses large canyon-like slots in the façade. These slots allow sunlight and ventillation to penetrate far deeper into the building bringing more sun into each room. The windows which look into these slots have a unique rhomboid shape to maximise efficiency. These window bays in the cayons create a bold faceted architectural façade which will be illuminated with a coloured light installation at night. The end walls of the slots are made from 7 storey glass louvres and the building contains a 7 storey glass louvred atrium. Tony Owen says ‘ air is drawn through the voids and passes through the building like gills allowing the building to naturally breathe.’

The building has been developed and built by Ceerose Constructions who are currently building the iconic Eliza Aprtments in Elizabeth Street also by visionary architect Tony Owen.
