This is a strange commission: A “culture ark” in order to retrieve civilization after the 2012 apocalypse.

Located at a mountain slope in Sierra Nevada, Spain, and promoted by Belgian foundation, we were asked to develop the spatial concept to ensure the survival of 20 families and thousands of books for three years.

Additionally we were excited about the contemporary superstitious, the \”scientificisim\” religious looking for immortality (so well explained by Houllebecq) and the experience holydays, which may provide an Apocalyptic Resort.

But it couldn’t be done. Big engineering companies which are currently selling thousands of bunkers around the world -for the impending apocalypse- eliminated us from the project. Theirs arguments: This project is extremely serious and your proposal is expensive and unviable. Of course, promoters believe in military discipline in case of global apocalypse.
