Article source: Carlos Gallardo Llopis Petra comes from the Greek and means stone, is not a city built of stone, but literally, carved and sculpted in stone. The origin of the word Petrer comes from Petrea village, which means village or rather stony, with lots of stone. Appropriating this idea the proposal arises from a stone, rock, mass, … Petrea. The building, like a quarry operation, generates as a base of operations for stone removal from enhancing the geometries and lines of a pure and sober body.  PTR-Sculptured Stone The project is evident not only physically, but through the reflections that make it clear through the sheets of water, producing a mirror effect housing multiplying the visuals. A game of shadows from carved rock contrasting with the light of the large panes of glass. The skylight and the interior courtyard of mysticism that provide communication with the bottom of the home like a passage to another layer of rock in question. Patio, an erosion of the stone.
