From the beginning of the project the client wanted the house built in Kolumba bricks. Later when the expression of the house was made as an outlined design the client visited Petersen Tegl several times to see the test walls with the different 2-3 colors he was interested in.

One of the first actions that were made in the construction process was to build a test wall at the site so the last evaluation could be made in the correct site.
Now the house is build – One floor facing the entrance that grows from the ground with no visible plinth and two floors facing the river where the lower floor is in-situ concrete.

In interaction with the selected materials the beautiful house appears. The raw concrete, tombak used on bay windows, cladding and flashing creates a harmonious look together with the tight masonry where the horizontal is underlined with the even retracted bed joint and per-pend.

The long line of the Kolumba bricks gives the house a calm expression – And you can always enjoy the beautiful crafts.
