The design of a cemetery is based on the beliefs and their funeral rites, which in turn say a lot about the particular understanding of nature and social relations.
This fact should also be shown clearly in the new cemetery project for Muslims in Vorarlberg.

This is a project based on our experiences of bathing cultures from our respective home countries Finland and Iceland. We wanted to offer our Russian spectators a warm sauna, banja in their own language, and a cold dive directly in the river itself. To have some more local qualities, we added a typical small pine tree from the area and fine lace curtains to add some privacy if needed.
Following their success in winning first prize in an international competition, the architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp) have been commissioned to design the new southern railway station in Hangzhou. The project involves the conversion and extension of the station in the Xiao Shan district to the south of the Qiantang river; after the eastern and main railway stations it will be the third largest railway station of this metropolis.
Klingmann Architects and Brand Consultants’ competition entry for the new National Museum of Afghanistan envisions the institution as a compact jewel box concealing the treasure that history has entrusted to it piece by piece. For this reason, the box, though dense and hermetic on the outside, must be suggestive and magical on the inside. Seemingly simple and plain on the exterior, the box reveals the deep, rich and complex heritage of the people of Afghanistan on the interior. While the treasures are carefully embedded and protected deep within the box, they are not readily available to the onlooker. They remain a hidden mystery, longing to be discovered. We want to capture this sense of mystery and longing and The space within invites the visitor on a journey of unearthing and discovery. The space within is neither a mere organizing element, nor a beautiful but distant architecture. The exhibition’s experience has the ability to evoke places and people from a tiny yet resilient fragment of ceramic which has managed to survive, and which speaks of the fragility of time.

In this position is usual to generate some type of protective parameter which separates us from it. Here, instead of rejecting this particular situation, we collect it in our profit, as in judo.

Aron is a company manufacturing plastic goods, for example pipes for building facilities, objects for elders care, some materials for other products and so on.The correct name of the company is “Aron Kasei”. Kasei means chemical manufacture in Japanese. This R&D center is expected to gather various functions from their old Laboratories, and to provide a place to create new ideas and to heighten their sensitivity with brainstorms.The site is located along Nagoya Bay where Japanese huge industries are gathering.
Rotterdam based office BARCODE Architects and Paris based office Haber Autrement presented the final design of the project ‘Pôle de Compétences’ in Bordeaux.
The 7,000m² project is part of the masterplan ‘Bassin a Flots’ designed by ANMA/ Nicolas Michelin, an extensive redevelopment of the harbor area at the west bank of the Gironne in Bordeaux. The masterplan aims on a phased transformation of the present introvert industrial harbor area into a new lively precinct with an urban mixture of living, working, and recreation.

The goal of the Center is to provide leadership in developing an educated, prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce. Each program has unique, specialized requirements that integrate academics with career preparation. These programs compliment local business and industry, and the curriculum is aligned to industry-recognized certifications/licensures. Most students are ready for certification/licensure upon graduation.
The Taliesin Mod.Fab is an example of simple, elegant, and sustainable living. The one-bedroom, 600-square-foot prototype residence relies on panelized construction to allow for speed and economy on site or in a factory. It can be connected to utilities or be \”unplugged,\” relying on low-consumption fixtures, rainwater harvesting, greywater re-use, natural ventilation, solar orientation, and photovoltaics to reduce energy and water use. The structure is dimensioned and engineered to be transportable via roadway.
