Masquespacio present their last project done in a central area from Valencia, Spain. The studio specialized in interior design and communication created in this case the interior and the identity of 2Day Languages, a new Spanish school in Valencia.
This project in first case is based on the identity of 2Day Languages represented by a flag that is fused with a text bubble including the three fundamental characteristics of language learning: the levels, the goal and the conversation. By the other hand it integrates the historic values from the city of Valencia that mixes modern and old architecture.
Located on the second floor of a block of flats in a residential area of Toledo, the apartment has 6 small rooms comprising of a living room, kitchen and four bedrooms, which are all connected via a dark and narrow corridor.
Our clients, a couple with no children, require more spacious, comfortable and lighter living areas, without completely changing the original layout of the apartment.

Bruno Erpicumwas the architect entrusted with designing this warehouse conversion. It is now the home of a couple with a passion for architecture who were keen to make one of Düsseldorf’s rare ruins their own. The reconversion was closely overseen by the administrative authorities, since this old factory in the city centre miraculously avoided damage during the many bombings of World War II.
The House KLR was built 1982 in Cologne as a townhouse with two units. In these days it was one of the first realized buildings of the architect who designed it for her husband and herself. A rentable in-law apartment with a separate staircase was supposed to support the young couple financially.
In the competition for skilled labour the environment of the workplace is gaining more and more importance today. Entrepreneurs therefore tend to focus on urban factors concerning the choice of location, but also increasingly on creating beautifully designed workplaces. Sophisticated architecture becomes a competitive advantage in the labour market and turns out to be a major factor in the recruitment and motivation of the employees of a company.

Situated in the leafy suburb of Balgowlah on Sydney’s Northern beaches, this 1930’s single storey bungalow was about to be brought into the 20th Century.
The client had just purchased the site, a small but stunningly located oceanfront property with panoramic views of the Pacific, when they were introduced to me. As I had just gone out on my own after many years as Associate Director at a successful mid-size firm I didn’t have much to show that I could prove as “my own”. After a detailed selection process the client chose to engage me for the design of their new house, probably based on a lot of trust in my ability and the fact that we got on very well on a personal level.

The Creative Corridor retrofits a four-block segment of an endangered downtown Main Street through economic development catalyzed by the cultural arts rather than Main Street’s traditional retail base. The goal is to structure an identity for the Creative Corridor rooted in a mixed-use working and living environment anchored by the arts.

LOTUS 7.0 is a living wall made out of smart foils which fold open in response to human behavior. Walking by LOTUS, hundreds of aluminum foils unfold themselves in an organic way; generating transparent voids between private and public. Via LOTUS, physical walls are made immaterial, giving way to a poetic morphing of space and people.
In Mexico loncherías —snack bars— have a long history in the popular gastronomy and are usually a synonym for craving. With this tradition in mind, ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea developed the interior design for Lonchería La Favorita, a new proposal for snacks cookery that is located on Insurgentes avenue in Mexico City. Architects Bernardo and Jose Lew, directors of ARCO, defined with the owners a well balanced project to make the most of the 70 sq m area.
