we want to show you the collection Lago Maggiore Casalinghi, a project that involves small and medium business of the historical household products district of Lago Maggiore, Lago d’Orta, Verbania e Cusio Ossola.
From the experiment of “Apparecchiare la città” presented at Salone del Mobile of Milan was born the first collection for “Lago Maggiore Casalinghi” brand not realized by a unique company, but by a wide network of production firms.

The collection, was designed by Ghigos Ideas for household product companies that, for the first time, joined forces to cooperate on a uniform project, to diffuse and promote the district production across the international markets.
These companies valorize their specific manufacturing culture, putting them into a common project to create a new brand.
The collection will be presented, for the first time during Ambiente 2013 in Frankfurt.

The stand evokes a lake landscape and the local districts as islands that create the Lago Maggiore archipelago that become inhabited. The table, as an urban masterplan, hosts a new collection of objects that speaks about consumer-goods. Objects become as icons and send back to an urban landscape, creating a real \”city of objects\”.
