General Services Building inside Helios Swimming Centre in Zaragoza by ACXT

The new building plays a key role inside Helios sports and leisure centre, working as an extension to the dressing rooms facilities and connecting an existing sports building.

The main functional ideas are:

Solve the connection between dressing room facilities and the sports centre, making it more natural through the new building. Create an integrated new façade of the group of buildings to the south, east and west, and a service yard to the west, needed for the functioning of the three of them.

Mixed Use tower Winning Proposal in Beijing, China by DOS Architects

DOS architects are thrilled to announce that their entry for the Mixed Use development in Beijing (China) has just been announced as winner of the International design competition.

DOS architects were invited to take part in the competition setup by the site’s promoter, GWA (Grow Wealth Assets)in March this year alongside 4 other European Architecture firms, all of which were asked to produce a “Unique and Iconic building” for the site. Their ambitious proposal, which could be described as a “Cantilevering courtyard tower”, is located in the Lize Financial Business District, in the North East of China’s capital city and will be the first project for DOS architects in China.
