Article source: Haver & Boecker

Modern design with functionality and sustainability

The ceilings and walls inside the Qatar National Convention Centre are clad with 6,000 m² of architectural wire mesh made by Haver & Boecker. To meet the exclusive requirements of the room’s ambience, the designers chose bronze wire mesh. The high-quality aesthetic of the architectural mesh, as well as the excellent long-life properties, non-flammability, easy maintenance and recyclability, made choosing Haver & Boecker wire mesh an easy decision for the client.

Article source: brigada

For several years, Croatia’s leading advertising agency Bruketa&Žinic OM has occupied offices in a former toilet paper factory, but the space has never been fully adapted to accommodate the agency’s needs. We were invited to redesign and expand the agency’s office, transforming it into a modern, contemporary creative space that embodies agency values and encourages creativity. Due to the current economic situation, the office remodel required logical and cost-effective solutions to sumptuous ideas.

The Golden Tusk Resort by M:OFA Studio

Thursday, September 12th, 2013

Article source: M:OFA Studio

M:OFA designs a true Agro Resort. The design intent was to give a firsthand experience of countryside living to the urban travelers and sensitize them to the idea of living with nature, effectively utilizing resources and minimizing waste. Apart from being amidst nature in the cottages that resonate the local materials expressed in a contemporary design, the program also includes an animal farm with poultry, cattle, goats, fish and even an elephant for the rides around the forest. The experience within the resort would include a day-out at the dairy and the poultry farm. Further, there is a true emphasis on an organic vegetable, fruit and herbal garden from where the fresh produce along with the produce from the dairy and the poultry farm would be served in the gourmet restaurant throughout the day.

Spice Market London

Imagine a wall of spices containing all the colours, flavours and fragrances of Asian cuisine. Imagine a spice cabinet, 2 floors high, 24 metres long and revealing every ingredient the chef will need to create the distinguished Spice Market dishes. This spice cabinet is here, as the centre-piece of the restaurant and starting point for a great dinnertime. When you look up from the street and see through the transparent restaurant façade, you can even see the cabinet from there.
