Based on the pre-existence of a large building which serves as a “skin” to maintain, the concept of action is based on dividing the interior space in “boxes” spaced to the existing construction and arranged according to the program and spans in the original facades. This proposal aims to build within the built and add without touching in order to integrate without merging two distinct approaches to architecture, the existing and the new proposal.
If one had to describe the relationship between Venetian designer Luca Nichetto and the Tales enterprise in only one word, it would be “emotion.” What brought these two lovers of design together is nothing short of a cocktail of right timing, trust, a twist of luck, and the mutual notion that emotion is at the core of design.
Originally built around 1850, the Arresthuis prison building underwent various renovations and expansions until the end of the 20th century. This monumental former prison complex extends over almost an entire city block in the historic centre of Roermond. When the prison facilities moved away from the historic complex and left the city centre of Roermond, the buildings were left unoccupied.
La Carrera is a farmhouse dating from the seventeenth century. It consists of a different buildings collection with the house and the cottage as the most representative.
The task of solving the project required the creation of a new home at the farm house barn for the young generation of the Carrera’s family, but our intervention also sought to dignify around the farm and its access.

With its monumental scale, the Goodman House extends the Modern legacy of radical gable form houses that began with McKim Mead and White’s Low House, was famously reinterpreted by Robert Venturi in his mother’s house and continues to hold the attention of numerous architects to this day.
This new socio-cultural centre is part of a larger development programme in a disadvantaged area in Mulhouse. The plot allocated to the cultural centre is tight, and requires a rigorous construction which should not infringe on the new urban structure formed by the elements which are yet to come:apartments, square, park, children’s play area, etc.
Squire and Partners approached their commission to design a private house as a crafted building, sensitive to its Mayfair Conservation Area context but with a unique contemporary presence. Sited at a junction of streets and views, and being physically linked to a listed Georgian wall at the termination of Chesterfi eld Mews facing Curzon Street, the building responds to a variety of contexts and viewpoints.
The Féval city-block is a significant part of the renovation program performed around the Rennes rail-station. The urban project is developed by FGP and Territores. The project suggests to develop a new territory to connect the two sides of the city involving changes in landscape and topography. The railway road passes through urban structures like a river would pass through giant tectonic monuments in a form of large crystals.
