Sunday, September 6th, 2015

Article source: Katsutoshi Sasaki + Associates

When I came for the first time on this project site, the whole site was covered in the shade. Because there is a 6-story apartment complex is built in the site south side. I propose this project about a relation with the natural light in the shadow place.

Article source: 57STUDIO

Replacing an existing structure used as a barn on a farm in the region of Bio Bio, it is requested to rebuild a higher-capacity version with 4 stables, 2 cellars and 1 trough. Because of the distance and the labour shortage, it is devised a mechanized construction system to be assembled on the site by two carpenters on a short time. The system combines a series of galvanized steel precast units with pine wood modular elements and the reuse of old demolition roof tiles.

Article source: David Guerra Architecture and Interior Design

Located in Nova Lima – MG, on a site of approximately 1300m² in the Crystal Valley condominium, stands a house which looks out over the valley. The idea was to build a house that had all their social and intimate area on the same floor, and the leisure facilities, a laundry area and a garage on the stilts, one floor below. The stilts release the box volume that turns to the landscape with a definitive sight, since the adjacent land is a conservation área.
