The layout of the plan allows the storage space to easily be added to the living area at a later point, making the houses particularly well suited for a senior clientele.

Villas in the field

The five villas and apartment building are members of an architectonical family. The houses are reached through a shared court. The garages and parking spaces for visitors are also located here. In the middle of the field, an existing old farm remains. The houses are loosely grouped around this farm. The 5 buildings are oriented towards the south and overlook the fruit trees in the common garden.

For the design, the roof is the defining element, for which the farm with its large thatch roof served as inspiration. The roofs of the buildings fold over the masonry and become part of the facade. The houses open toward the garden, the facade consists of glass frames over the full two stories here. The villas are situated in such a way that privacy and view are guaranteed.
