The exhibit Walking Pleasure at Triennale di Milano is a tribute to the 70 years anniversary of the brand Moreschi and the project is conceived by Migliore+Servetto Architects as a multy-sensory experience. Within Triennale Impluvium, the guest is asked to reflect on the concepts of walking and motion from different points of view.
In the Middle Ages, Bruges had two big ambitions: to have a sea port and a university, fine ambitions that the magnificent old city could barely realize despite its many efforts. During history Antwerp and Ghent took over the leading roles in those matters and Bruges became during three centuries ‘Bruges la morte’. However at the end of the 20th century Bruges is the 3rd seaport of the BENELUX, and in 2009 the VIVES University College was built, associated to the well known ‘University of Louvain’.
The townhouse is situated on an urban threshold at the edge of the ayalon cbd of tel aviv. The neighborhood in south east tel aviv, is defined by the highway to the west givatayim to the east, yad eliyahoo to the south and nahlat itzhak to the north.
Situated adjacent to the Royal canal, these 3 mews houses give little away to the street of their interlocking light filled floor plates. The black zinc curved hat and the stone gables contain 3 dwellings which have direct access to external space and natural daylight from every room at every level.
The Courtyard House Plugin is an award winning prefabricated modular system for urban regeneration. Using a house-within-a-house approach the system offers a inexpensive alternative to tearing things down. It is a main feature for the Dashilar Project, a initiative aimed at upgrading an important neighborhood in the historic core of Beijing.
ROSSETTI’s relationship with this NHL arena goes back several decades, when a group of youthful real estate investors had a dream of bringing hockey back to Ottawa. ROSSETTI served as the original architect on the home of the Ottawa Senators and has worked with the club ever since on expansions and upgrades.
The design of this building is part of the typological experimentation of a model of residential settlement. The idea behind the project is the search for a development distribution that can return to the people the highest degree of privacy allowed by a residential unit.
The site is located at the Asian side of Istanbul, between two parallel roads, one being the highway to Istanbul’s second international airport Sabiha Gökçen. The main construction consists of 2 separate blocks with 7 and 9 floors, respective to the site topography. Besides the office and residential floors, the anchor of the building is Pegasus Airlines.
