The project is situated in the italian Alps in the outskirts of the city of Sondrio, in between the Mallero torrent and areas of industrial warehouses.
The area, apart from Mallero to the south-east, does not have any important presence that could direct the overall urban planning of the area.

A prism shaped structure stands on the remaining grounds of an old corrala* from the 1950s. The space is composed of two blocks that run the length of the plot, which allows all homes to have no less than two outer façades and cross-ventilation.
Between blocks there is a wide courtyard, crossed by three translucent elevated walkways that can be used to access the homes at the northern end.

The Hague Central Station has been transformed by Benthem Crouwel Architects into a light-filled, capacious, easy-to-read building where all public transport systems converge at the heart of the city. The concrete of the 1970s has been demolished in favour of transparency. Inside, trams whiz above the trains along an elevated track. At the opening on February 1, 2016, State Secretary for Infrastructure and the Environment Sharon Dijksma described it as ‘a railway station of glass, a cathedral of light’.

The CTRI is a new research building on the site of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue Cégep (equivalent to a Junior College) dedicated to recycling industrial residue and other underutilized resources. The building was designed to accommodate research laboratories specialized in three sectors: the mining industry, the biomass industry, and environmental engineering. In addition, it features offices for administrative staff and researchers and various public areas (conference room, kitchenette, service areas). The project also included the interior renovation of part of the main Cégep building.
