Article source: ARQMOV WORKSHOP Within a neoclassical building, between 5th Avenue and Madison in NYC, a local of 210 m2 we developed the interior of this Italo restaurant – French which served for lunch and dinner in the restaurant area and terrace, our client wanted extend your schedule and take advantage of the transit of people through the morning, making room for a new market; the layout include a coffee bar and bread that could be serviced without opening the rest of the place.
Simplify the most of the distribution of space, we proposed the walls as part of the cava and integrate the design, propose booths and a bar in the bar itself leading to greater number of people. As for the material handling limit ourselves to homogenize tones and include few textures, use marble, wood in different shades, palladium on the ceiling that gives us light reflection and gives us the illusion of spaciousness in space, the fully warm lighting was designed so that repetitive throw along the cava shadows, we emphasize some architectural details in bars and polygonal spaces where wine is displayed. The terrace was set with natural wood furring visual shot against an adjacent wall partition naked complete the backplane of the property and a small vertical garden that integrates the large neighboring tree.
