Sumit Singhal loves modern architecture. He comes from a family of builders who have built more than 20 projects in the last ten years near Delhi in India. Timber slats cladding with various rhythms extend over some of the windows, filtering light and providing privacy inside the house. New thermal insulation, windows and heating system considerably reduced energy consumption. As project manager for large scale residential, cultural, office buildings, he worked for ten years in remarkable French and international firms, notably DBL / du Besset-Lyon Architects and JFA / Jacques Ferrier Architectures. FELD Architecture was founded on the thorough processes and architectural sensibility acquired during these years – a human-scale international practice of creative and responsive professionals. Our projects are elaborated with a focus on dialogue, exchange of ideas and inventiveness.
