In the 1980’s my then 94 year old cousin on paying a visit to a 1970’s development in Pagham, West Sussex commented, “how do people ever find their way home; all the houses look the same”.  I was at a loss to provide him with a rational answer.

Centennial College is the oldest publicly funded college in Ontario with four campuses serving the Greater Toronto Area east. Near a major intersection and in the Golden Mile neighbourhood of Toronto, the Ashtonbee Campus serves as the largest transportation technology training school in Canada. The campus is surrounded by residential, parklands, and is situated within a retail / commercial / light industrial typology. While generating successful industry partnerships and a thriving training program, the circa 1970’s campus suffered from safety concerns, accessibility issues, aging infrastructure, and lacked student support services and social gathering spaces.

Article source: Kanisavaran Architectural Group

In this project, our client needed a loft office and they would like to expand in future Their number of personnel . And they want to have different space for the special lobby  for Representing the shipping company ,dining room but they couldn’t  pay a lot of money  because this office was a rental office to 3year. We analysis  that building and we understood their walls were made masonry wall and without having safe structure.  According to our analysis we decided to keep all old wall. Our concept  was inspired of Prow (in front of the ship) and we had an attention to their  Corporate colors. We made Curved walls in the lobby from Straight lines… that detail was very easy, just from the rotation of section( To size 5 °). We paid  attention to the removal of physical borders and we Built  new borders from their Corporate colors  Because this kind of borders was inexpensive and created loft spaces.
