Black and white minimalism in Ljubljana, Slovenia by GAO architects

Tuesday, May 9th, 2017

Article source: GAO architects

The interior is designed having in mind that the client is a successful, young business man. It was created with a bit of hedonism related to his passion for cigars. The dynamic lifestyle and the enjoyment of one’s private space are related to the functionality and comfort and are upgraded with the elegance of the black and white colour contrast. Solid Oak with natural finish and the detail of rough ropes disrupt the elegancy and make the apartment inviting and charming.

VONNA in Madrid, Spain by PYO Arquitectos

Tuesday, May 9th, 2017

Article source: PYO Arquitectos

The new separates from the existing. Thus, the shop window carpentry is attached to the facade anchoring from the outside, “presenting” the existing structure, appropriating its qualities, detaching itself from it and putting it in value. Its execution, its assembly and its detail are a presentation of the interior intervention.

Article source: CAZA

The Ningbo Haishu Waterfront district is an island, surrounded by water on all four sides, offering a unique topographical setting in which to reimagine urban life in 21stcentury China. Contemporary Chinese cities have entered a new era of 21st-century urbanism. Old strategies for developing new districts no longer work: cities cannot rely on instant buildings, and iconic projects no longer beget their own economies.
