And wherever the house, they can feel a sign of the family.

sense of distance between the neighbors

sense of distance between the town

The Pavilion of Canopies in West Bengal, India by Abin Design Studio

Friday, February 26th, 2016

Article source: Abin Design Studio

Built for accommodating the activities of a religious festival for a tribal community that resides in the lush countryside west of Kolkata, the driving concept behind the design was to celebrate tribal life, rituals and the symbiotic relationship with the forest. The fascinating surroundings of the Pavilion of Canopies are reflected in its design. An earnest attempt has been made to raise awareness about the enrichment and conservation of forestlands and the communities residing within them by highlighting their lives within the forest. The design experience was to abstract the journey through a lush forest of canopies and arrive at the sight of glorious divinity. This was similar to the ancient Indian ritual of undertaking a pilgrimage through the forest to seek divine enlightenment. Since the site is also surrounded by dense greenery the design seeks to formally reflect this contextual characteristic.

Business Center in Opole, Poland by PORT

Friday, February 26th, 2016

Article source: PORT

The most valuable ideas are created not in the office desk, but far from it. They need inspiration, air and coincidence. The purpose of project was to make friendly space. Good quality of working space is one of the factors which cause that the life is well spend. If we are happy at work, then it’s effects would be better and more useful for everyone. We don’t want to use the term “free time” as that time after work as we do not agree that time spent at work is the one without freedom. We all should work with satisfaction and pleasure from what we are doing.

A green bridge in Milan, Italy by Gianluca milesi architecture

Friday, February 26th, 2016

Article source: Gianluca milesi architecture

”The Net”

A bridge is built to connect two points and to remove an obstacle.

The “Bussa” is the bridge connecting two parts of the city of Milan separated by a high speed road, a train line and tall buildings. but is closed do the public and in state of neglect and decay.

But a bridge is a connection, so we thought the our project should emphasize this idea of connection.

We thought to a structural “Net” as the physical and symbolic imagine of the project.

The House for Markétka by Mjölk architekti

Friday, February 26th, 2016

Article source: Mjölk architekti

Fear of beauty
Sometimes just watch and silently stare around. Take a rest without feeling the pressure that something needs a comment or evaluation. You can not always say this is similar to this or that. Everything might not resemble something. Not everything has to resemble something. It is sometimes good to shut up and just to look around. Stop for a moment and think, perceive, feel, touch, listen. Sometimes it´s not necessary to say something and just for a moment become part of things around. Maybe then those things will start to make sense.
