Les Hommes in Anversa, Belgium by Piuarch

The Belgian brand LES HOMMES opens the first flagship store in Belgium in a 200sqm space in Antwerp, home town of the two creative directors Tom Notte e Bart Vandebosch.

The boutique- at 6 Arme Duivelstraat – it’s the second flagship store in Europe after the one in Milan Porta Nuova opened in 2014 and prelude an important expansion which foresees the opening of 15 new boutiques in Asia in 3 years time.

Like for Milan, the concept and the brand identity of the new boutique were developed by Piuarc, to whom the brand entrust the responsibility for the task to express in space, colours, geometries and materials the values and images that characterize its style.

Forest Green Rovers, Eco Park Stadium in Stroud, England by Zaha Hadid Architects

Following a seven month international competition, Forest Green Rovers has selected the winning design for its new football stadium in Stroud, UK.

Rovers announced the competition in March this year, and quickly received over 50 entries from around the world, including Sweden, Germany, France, Britain and the United States.

In May, the club shortlisted nine entries, and gave them all two months to work up their concepts, which were reviewed over two days in August, leading to the selection of two finalists. The final two were given another two months to take their concepts further, including a scale model.

Zéntral in Jalisco, México by ARCHETONIC

Zentral is located on a property with unusual geometry. It is a multiuse complex with offices, a shopping center, and apartments. Facing the Manuel Gómez Morín peripheral ring, Zentral enjoys a strategic location on one of Guadalajara’s main routes in the Puerta de Hierro neighborhood. Its soaring views of the city serve as a cornerstone for the project.

Vartaterminalen – New ferry terminal in Stockholm, Sweden by C.F. Møller

An inauguration ceremony will be held on Tuesday in Stockholm for the Värtaterminalen ferry terminal designed by C.F. Møller. More than just a ferry terminal, the innovative facility combines infrastructure with urban park, providing a new recreational space for the people of Stockholm.

With its location and design, the ferry terminal marks the first step in the development of a brand new district in Stockholm that will innovatively integrate city and port.

VPVC Office in Vitacura, Chile by DRAA

The VPVC office is a project commissioned to solve the demanding layout for a new bureau of lawyers, located in a single 500 sqm story of a translucent curtain-wall building with a single central circulation core in Santiago. Our proposal resulted the winner in a private competition.

The programme requested contemplated allocating 23 individual lawyer’s offices, 4 secretaries, accountants, interns and an area of services.

Amarnath Caves in Jammu and Kashmir, India by Morphogenesis

One of the most pious and perilous of Hindu pilgrimages, the ‘Amarnath ji yatra’ is situated at a height of 3888 m, accessible only during the months of July-August for a period of roughly 45 days. The destination of the pilgrimage consists of a cave with a natural formation of an ice stalagmite in the form of a Shiva lingam.
