The site is located in the central area of Sendai city, an area influenced by recent land readjustment projects. It is expected that this area will continue to develop and increase in residential population. With these circumstances in view, we designed an “urban-style” nursery school building that can efficiently accommodate increased numbers of children, while also encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and connection with the local community.
It is a project that converts office and apartment building over 40 years into single family house. The site is located in a residential area close to central Shizuoka city.In the area,it is difficult to predict the future environment.Because a lot of houses are rebuilding due to aging.So we attempted to create a depth between the private room and the city.
The spatial structure of this project is based on how to combine an umbrella-like roof towering over a pool resembling a bowl. These two elements look roughly alike in plan as well as section.
Tetusa Oasis Thermal Resort is an extensive wellness and medical facility set in the midst of low-rise housing area in coastal town Cesme in Turkey. In this well known leisure town with a long history of thermal water exploitation the decision was made to enrich the town’s offer with new central thermal complex including spa, water park, hotel, medical prevention center, elderly care facility and some other supporting programs.
The apartment is a unit on the fourth floor of a ‘30s building, located in the San Salvario district. The three-sided exposure makes the apartment very bright and gives great breath to all spaces.
The elements that generate the project are the use of existing walls and the creation of new ones through three lightweight elements with dual functions.
The site in the center of London is adjacent to the large courtyard of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. Founded in Smithfield in the 12th century, the hospital is the oldest in London and was founded at the same time as the St. Bartholomew the Great Church in 1123. Rahere founded the church and hospital “for the restoration of poor men.” Layers of history characterize this unique site, connecting deeply to the Medieval culture of London.

A barn from the 1960s turned into a workplace for the artist, an experimental and narrative environment where the light and surrounding hills shape the architecture.
Nested in the heart of Bukit Merah, Gateway Theatre is a multi-performance venue where user’ experience and social participation are priorities. The front façade of the theatre opens up to the streets of Bukit Merah allowing passers-by and residents to peer into the building, giving it a sense of porosity and openness.
