Sunday, July 30th, 2017

Article source: Central de Proyectos SCP

The usual access configuration to real estate developments is characterized by presenting a portal as a dividing plane between the interior and exterior, beyond a scenographic object, the project’s response proposes an open and public space. The space distributes the circulation and accesses to different stages and uses of the complex. The internal communication roads for low impact vehicles are designed from this square to the new development.

Building for New Norvento Headquarter in Lugo, Spain by MANGADO & ASOC.SL.

Sunday, July 30th, 2017

Article source: MANGADO & ASOC.SL.

The building for the research center of the firm Norvento is located on the border between an industrial enclave and a forest, close to the city of Lugo. The project adopts the form that enables the building to open on to the forest and be in a continuum with it, capitalizing on all the attributes that the woods can contribute to the architecture, while closing up on the side facing the adjacent industrial scene. It uses the opportunity to establish a clear-cut scheme through architectural, typological, and spatial attributes.

School of Alfa Omega in Tangerang, Indonesia by RAW Architecture

Sunday, July 30th, 2017

Article source: RAW Architecture

Alpha Omega school is an educational building with spirit of locality. Located on Tangerang city, it sat on 11700 sqm area with the prior condition of swamp and paddy field. The design responded this unstable soil condition by raising structure to 2.1  m high above the ground. The site itself was chosen as part of design scheme, —corresponding to its natural surroundings, in order to give children sense of closeness to nature, thus invoking outdoor-learning experience.(The building integrates 4 modular buildings, with efficient access point in one central court yard, due to limitation of local land zoning of what can be built and what can not be built.)

Mrs. Fan is from a traditional Chinese family. Newlyweds like her are expected to purchase a car and move into a new house in the suburbs to start the next phase of their life. LODOVNIA Ice Cream Shop in Poznań, Poland by mode:lina architekci

Sunday, July 30th, 2017

Article source: mode:lina architekci

LODOVNIA, a new mobile ice cream shop with a unique facade, found its place right in the heart of Poznań’s Stary Browar! Since the building took a central spot in the Courtyard of Art, mode:lina™ studio designers approached its façade as if it was a piece of art. Dark walls were extended with the use of almost one thousand white sport cones, referring to LODOVNIA’s fagship product – natural ice cream in a cone. Large glazed panels not only allow to peek in, but they also refect the surrounding Stary Browar’s architecture. The interior is a black and white composition as well, warmed by triangle-shaped elements made of natural plywood. Both the triangles and the shape of a sport cone further connect with the letter V in LODOVNIA’s logo, which makes the architectural result consistent with the ice cream shop’s visual identity system.
