A steel cube supported by concrete walls is the image of a bakery company with an industrial process, located in a new area of corporative buildings.
A new industrial concept for a company dedicated to the production of traditional and elaborated bread of massive consumption , incorporating top technology to all panification processes.
Privileged location in a new area of corporative buildings lead us to create an integrated design where volume was favored as an object.

The location of the Sport Complex and Swimming Center in La Florida, Vigo, was a challenge because it was in a empty space of a built block, with a very high slope. So, the superior level stayed and the building was constructed below this level and it develops the functional program semi-buried. Therefore, on top of the building, was projected a public square and the slope of the terrain.

Oficina Vidre Negre was born as a contemporary sculpture, a symbol of a dynamic and continuous development with the need for strong identification, even in terms of image.
In a context of peripheral node of the motorway, the building is set within a park, planted with native species, in which a sort of town square accompanied to the entrance.
The dynamism of the client is shown in architecture, volume changing, a prism completely covered in black glass faceted and integrated photovoltaic panels.
The structure is split reflected in the wide expanse of water over the stage function, is the reserve of water for fire-fighting system and irrigation of the park.

The project is the renovation of an apartment contained within an art nouveau building originally designed and built in 1902 (architect C.M. Koch). The building is a 5 floor residential block in the centre of Ljubljana overlooking a square surrounded by residential and mixed use buildings.

This is the first crematorium in Lithuania. The idea to build a crematorium was born in the interwar period, but at that time only furnace to reduce medical waste in Kaunas hospital was built. Increasing cremation traditions Lithunians use cremation services in Latvia and Poland. To make a path for the first crematorium in Lithuania wasn’t easy. Despite the big enthusiasm, the catholic mind and political hypocrisy, the lack and imperfections of environmental and other laws were overcome only in 2011. The owners of Kedainiai crematorium, doctor and environmentalist, showed the strength.

From the beginning of the project we understood the intrinsic qualities associated with this piece of urban fabric. We here deal with a rectangular space with measures that do not exceed 7.50 m x 12.00 m located practically in the heart of the square. This is a dwelling unit of the type of the row houses in the city of Buenos Aires. At the beginning of the last century it was common to build small houses with the conceptual characteristics of the “sausage house” multiplied for the depth of an urban lot. The project then rose as a challenge to customer demands whose programmatic needs far exceeded the possibilities offered by the nature of the terrain. We also had to be aware of the constraints brought by the responsibility of reforming a historic site that was protected by the law of the city of Buenos Aires.

The CityCenter Condo-Hotel, a $510 million, 1,543- room condominium-hotel, is a key component of MGM/Mirage’s new flagship development. The 1.6 million-square-foot residential hotel includes three dining facilities, pool and spa areas, and additional retail and office space. The hotel tower will be 54 stories tall, rising up to 550 feet above street level. Located at a strategic junction between the new CityCenter hotel and casino and the existing Bellagio Hotel & Casino, the project will serve as the gateway between both buildings, connecting two of MGM/Mirage’s largest and most prominent properties in Las Vegas. The project is scheduled to be completed by winter 2009.

“Controlled Collapsing” is a project recently sumbitted to the 2012 EVOLO SCKYSCRAPER COMPETITION. Established in 2006, the annual Competition recognizes outstanding ideas that redefine skyscraper design through the use of new technologies, materials, programs, aesthetics, and spatial organizations, along with studies on globalization, flexibility, adaptability, and the digital revolution. This is also an investigation on the public and private space and the role of the individual and the collective in the creation of a dynamic and adaptive vertical community.

Location of this Starbucks is somehow characteristic, as it stands on the main approach to the Dazaifu Tenmangu, one of the most major shrines in Japan. Established in 919 A.D., the shrine has been worshiped as “the God for Examination,” and receives about 2 million visitors a year who wish their success. Along the main path to the shrine, there are traditional Japanese buildings in one or two stories. The project aimed to make a structure that harmonizes with such townscape, using a unique system of weaving thin woods diagonally.

Paying homage to the Baroque staircase attributed to 17th century English master Edmund Pearce (on exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art), workshop/apd fashioned a contemporary update for a modern Tribeca loft. Where Pearce incorporated oak leaves and pine cones, we digitized interlaced tree branches to create an element of modern-day beauty and craft in water-jet cut steel, bringing fancifulness and ornamentation back to architecture. Like its predecessor, the dramatic scroll – now in perforated steel – weaves the two floors together in a unique way.
