Located in an established Los Altos neighborhood, this single-family residence is a modernist reinterpretation of the Northern California ranch style home the clients desired. Nestled amongst neighboring houses and a landscape of mature trees, the residence maintains a sense of privacy and offers this young family reprieve from the bustle of daily activities.
Under the trend of “no real estate speculation”, the urban leasing industry has ushered in a period of great transformation. From renting a room to a good house to a desired lifestyle, people’s understanding of life in the city will gradually rise to a new more valued one. As to the proposition that urban culture will become the lifestyle itself, we try to explore the future through a series of research-based residential design practices. Through the “Piston Room”, we discussed the time utilization of the Beijing ant tribe’s apartment space. Through the “Capsule Home”, we’ve thought about the possibility of new space in the city’s extreme collection capsules. In 2016, we had a chance to systematically explore the “living organism” of a complete city, which gave birth to the ” Home on the Roof ” of Shenzhen Yuanzheng industrial park.

On various white background materials, the line and color blocks are fermenting in minimalism, creating a division of order and spatial displacement.
Extreme organizational flexibility, attention to environmental quality and an accurate interpretation of the setting: these were the requirements for the headquarters of IDF Habitat, the French company in charge of the development of social housing operations. In March 2017 IDF Habitat proudly announced its new address, 15 km from the heart of Paris. Designed by Piuarch, Stefano Sbarbati and Incet Ingénierie, the winners of a competition held in 2013, the Champigny-sur-Marne headquarters were inspired by the desire to create an efficient, functional complex, and above all one that stands as an indispensable element in the area’s transformation process. The building is in fact part of the so-called “ZAC des Bords de Marne,” an ambitious redevelopment program aimed at defining a new social, cultural and productive sector connected with the city, interpreting expectations and generating a system with a strong identity.

We are placed in a coastal town, once a fishermen’s village that, with the arrival of tourists, it has become a tourist destination where to spend one’s holidays.
Incorporating themselves into the pleasing view of a waterfront residence, the undulate waters with ripples therein pass through the semi-circular surrounding windows and become part of the vicissitudes of your daily life. Inspired by the murmuring waters outside the bright neat windows, the interior design extends swells of the rippling breakers and transforms them into attractive curves in walls, ceilings and traffic flow, symbolizing echoes to exterior waves to resemble endless stream currents, take in soft wavy lines and delicate rhythm, and replace rigid and simple squares.
Named after its charmingly christened Moon Alley, the Vicolo Luna neighbourhood is an urban quarter on the edge of Favara’s town.
This project’s target is to toggle on urban and social regeneration dynamics, to the benefit of such complex network of old and new buildings, of public, private and venue spaces: squares, historical streets, alleyways, plazas, courtyards and gardens.
Together with the newly designed “Park Ouerbett”, the restaurant “Pavillon Madeleine” forms the new green centre of the community of Kayl-Tétange, in the south of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, close to the industrial city of Esch-sur-Alzette. The restaurant building is located at the intersection of the north-south road linking Kayl to Tétange and the circular path of the park. Its footprint of 10 m x 22 m x 4.5 m allows it to harmoniously blend into the park structure. The open space at the front, which features an outdoor dining area with approximately 40 seats and a barbecue area, defines the entrance to the restaurant and leads guests straight into the inside of the pavilion via a glass door. Here there is room for a further 40 guests. In front of the pavilion, seating steps provide direct access and contact with the water of Kayl creek, the quality of which has been upgraded through cleansing and other minor improvements of its banks. All the accesses to the pavilion and the inside are designed to be barrier-free.
