MOURNING HOUSE in Bosques de las Lomas, Mexico City by Pascal Arquitectos

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014

Article source: Pascal Arquitectos

This is a project with very strong emotional implications. We had to understand the mood of the user, who at such this moment would not care very much for an aesthetical analysis of any place, but at the same time we wanted to create a space that can create a spritual mood, for this we referred to ancient buildings that were designed for this purpose, as the Egiptian “Mastabas” or some Mayan buildings in Palenque.

DI_Telegraph in Moscow, Russia by Archiproba

Wednesday, August 20th, 2014

Article source: Archiproba

The Central Telegraph is located on Tverskaya street in the center of Moscow. Architect Ivan Rerberg constructed the building in 1927, and it took only several decades for it to become an architectural monument. The Telegraph has an unusual perimeter structure with both modernist and constructivist features; its surprising geometry and broad glazing distinguishes the building against a background of the Stalinist empire style of that era.

SDM APARTMENT in Mumbai, India by Arquitectura en Movimiento Workshop

Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

Article source: Arquitectura en Movimiento Workshop

Located in central Mumbai, our client builds a 6 story building, 2 for each apartment we simultaneously perform 3 interior design projects for 3 different clients, all from the same family; parents, (an older couple) and 2 families of young couples with children, each with different needs and personalities, this is how we address the same space with different distributions, each had a different reason on which interiors are designed, a concept far from typical housing in India, a space for living inside, contrasting with its urban context, with its social environment.

Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

Article source: Al bordE architects

The wish to set up, the search for living in harmony with nature, the need of autonomy for each one of the three members of the family, the low budget (understood as the optimization of resources and spaces) and the phrase: “There is always another way of doing things and another way for living”, settled by her, were the starting point for the design.
