Small café on countryside in Chiba, Japan by tai_tai STUDIO

This cafe is located near the small town of the coast (a good wave comes.) They(owner family) wanted to build a small cafe. They wanted to design and to understand the features of the location. We wanted to design the cafe that seems to exist from the old days. Weekdays, inhabitants of near to this cafe are coming. Holiday, guests will come from Tokyo and Yokohama to this cafe.

Poppodium Grenswerk in Venlo, Netherlands by Frits van Dongen, Patrick Koschuch

Grenswerk, part of the medieval city on the Maas river, is to become the future creative and cultural heart of Venlo. Specifically the parceling, typical of old town structures, was advised by the urban plan of AWG, as being a carrier of new architectural developments.

Emplazados en Adra in Almería, Spain by EXarchitects

Red Cross Volunteer House in Copenhagen, Denmark by COBE

The program for the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts [the Wallis] was to transform the Historic Post Office Site into a cultural center for the performing arts including, the 500 seat Goldsmith Theatre, the 120 seat Lovelace Studio Theatre, an education wing, administrative offices, café, gift shop, sculpture garden, education court and a state of the art performing arts support spaces.

HOME CAFE in Beijing, China by PENDA DESIGNS

Penda has been commissioned by the Beijing-based property developer Hongkun to lay out a concept for its café brand Home Café with potential to spread it throughout China. The café chain will incorporate various concept versions to offer spaces to breathe in heavily polluted areas of China. Two debut locations opened its doors in Beijing and Tianjin. With air pollution being a major issue in Chinese cities, Penda decided to create a café for visitors to take a deep breath of clean air.
