Wadi penthouse in Beirut, Lebanon by platau | platform for architecture and urbanism

Sunday, March 5th, 2017

Article source: platau | platform for architecture and urbanism

The project is an interior refurbishment of a two floors penthouse for a family of four, located in Wadi Abu Jamil in Beirut Central District. The original arrangement of the penthouse presented a fragmented circulation between its two floors with poor spatial interaction, and a narrow main foyer.

The most significant spatial intervention was the introduction of a double height space at the center of the house, reorganizing around it the once fragmented realms of living areas, work areas, storage and bedrooms.

Waldeck is a new bar in Amsterdam. Waldeck refers to the street on which is located. The Emmastraat is named after Queen Emma van Waldeck- Pyrmont.

The center of the design is the large bar located in the middle of the Cafe. The Bar defines the entire layout of the space. With its detailing and finishings it feels like the bar feels like a bar should feel. Sitting at the bar you have a perfect view over the Vondelpark and Konininneweg.

This 100 m2 Loft with structure and apparent installations is located in the noble neighborhood of Morumbi, in São Paulo.

Although the aesthetic appeal of New York sheds converted into housing in the 1970s is the main justification for the male audience in explaining their desire for this style of property, Diego Revollo, who is knowledgeable about this repertoire and with some other lofts in his portfolio, knows that this profile prioritizes good materials and functionality.

Tuesday, February 28th, 2017

Article source: Fran Silvestre Arquitectos

Placed on top of historic Hollywood Hills, the ones which draw Los Angeles profile where part of Case Study Houses program was built. The project lays on the ground, adapting to its hard slope and conditions, carrying out a change of direction at house level in order to frame the horizon of the city till the ocean.

John’s view, who will live the home, was determinant for its design. A monolythic piece, hanging from topography and opened to the distant landscape was what he imagined for this place.
