With a limited budget, the goal of this project is to create a pavilion with a capacity of 1’700 employees working on the Fsoft C4 building in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Located in the park in front of the main office building, the pavilion disappears into the landscape. The drawn profile of the building blends into the vegetation of the surrounding park. Mingling with trees, it seems that the users lose the perception of its limits. The transparency of the façade makes the place an open interior space with no breaks nor visual barriers. In order to break the scale, create islets of vegetation and ensure natural ventilation, the patios are integrated inside the pavilion.

Entering the pavilion you will experience the sky and its components in a particular way, as if you’re in the middle off it.
The pavilion consists of 2 triangular shapes placed on their point and open to the sky. Connected they stay in balance and you get a same triangular entrance between them.The entrance is accentuated by a canopy.

In 2012, Union Station became the new central location for intercity bus travel in Washington DC. The new bus transit center is located in the parking garage, removed from the facilities and amenities of the majestic Beaux Arts masterpiece next door. Studio Twenty Seven Architecture was asked to design a solution that would provide amenities to the bus traveler without requiring them to leave the bus deck.

Cupolas are an experimental project to verify the structural possibilities of the cupola and methods of enveloping it. The saga began in the summer of 2011, when we built the first cupola in the meadows at Maxov. It is a variation on the tried-and-tested hollow stack system, only the components are joined with screws. It is beautiful. Cross-country skiers ran through it in winter. We decided to give it a dress of ice. Frozen water created beautiful shapes on the thin latticework, and so the first envelope version saw the light of day.

The project is a small marquee designed to improve the pedestrian access to an underground parking, located in the Plaza San Juan Bosco, in Pamplona. Originally, the access was exposed, and consisted of stairs accompanied by old metal railings. The commission, therefore, consisted on covering such stairs; and the execution budget was very small.

The Microsoft Technology Pavilion was designed by architectural firm Nowadays for the 2014 Winter Olympic games, held in Sochi. Standard rectangular plots 25×30 meters were given to sponsors of the Games in the Olympic park. One of the main requirements of the Olympic Committee was to locate a single volume on the site. But the clients wanted to create a public space where visitors could meet between competitions. So architects decided to rethink the proposed layout of a single building in the center of the site and distributed all the functions around the perimeter. It gave the opportunity to create a multilevel courtyard, saturated with various activities.
