The residence is located in Ancient Korinthos. Taking into consideration the importance of the broader archaeological area, an excavation of 12×12 meters initially took place in the southern part of the site, determining the opening gestures of the project.
This residence, consisting of a design office and a master bedroom, is the result of renovating a barn which used to store farming equipment, a barn located in the rural area about an hour’s drive from Tokyo. The barn with the height of 4 m. was transformed into a loft which had two levels–the first for the meeting room and the second for the office. The lattice windows welcome the trees of the forest into the building, ushering in tranquility. The old doors of the barn have been given a new life to provide an accent for the space.
As a centerpiece of Portland’s Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness, Bud Clark Commons (BCC) represents a new approach to providing dignified housing and comprehensive services to help those experiencing homelessness. Funded by a combination of low-income housing tax credits, urban renewal funding, and HUD stimulus dollars, the project sets a new standard by combining permanent supportive housing and temporary shelter with a community resource center.

Located at the gateway to downtown Portland near historic Union Station, BCC sits between the Pearl District, an upper-income mixed-use neighborhood, and Old Town/Chinatown, a district undergoing an unprecedented level of redevelopment. The LEED Platinum project achieves a perceivable balance between the rigorous programmatic requirements of a coalition led by the City of Portland, a progressive design approach, and sustainable building practices.
The project’s mission is to provide a continuum of services to help transition homeless individuals toward stable, permanent living arrangements. The architecture helps achieve this goal in the expression of both form and function: a walk-in day center with public courtyard and access to services; a 90-bed temporary shelter; and a separate and secure entrance to 130 efficient, furnished studio apartments for homeless men or women seeking permanent housing with support services.
Kopenhagen is a residence with 161.6 m2of overall space; it is a wooden building with a simple rectangular shape, 2 storeys, a low gable roof, and a wooden façade. The courtyard-side is made lighter by a console eave cover, a balcony and a horizontal lattice reaching from the balcony to the front of the terrace.
As Oy Kalasataman Fiskari and As Oy Kalasataman Fregatti, and the connecting car park are the figurehead block of the new residential area built in Kalasatama, Helsinki.
The buildings are situated by the seashore. The architectural plan won a property lease competition organized by the City of Helsinki, and was praised by the jury for its unprecedented, personal and refined whole, giving the property a strong and new identity.
This 1,900 SF loft in the heart of Tribeca was the painting studio of abstract expressionist Barnett Newman. Daylight from one hundred feet of windows fills the space. Our intention to preserve and enhance the essential character of this historic loft — while crafting within it a domestic space for a family with a young child – relied on a sense of openness and light. Operable panels of prismatic glass configure to create either dramatic openness or total privacy. Custom mahogany and bronze panels enhance the natural breadth and depth of the loft. A state-of-the-art cook’s kitchen and French limestone bathrooms make this space equally suited for dramatic entertaining and intimate daily living.
Baja California is developed on a compact plot of 269sq meters in one of the most seismic hazard zones of the city. This triggered multiple challenges and opportunities that concluded with the following results: The building has a one parking lot at the main level and 13 apartments including 1 loft subdivided in 7 different levels.
