One House_House for Family of Four in Pangyo, Korea by Chang Kyu Lee (GEBDESIGN)

Friday, May 6th, 2016

Article source: Chang Kyu Lee

A house is a place of habitation—a dwelling and shelter. A house is also a home—a place of identity. Just as an individual’s identity is personal (private) and social (public), the home is also a shelter separated from the world (inward) and a place of center from which to explore the world (outward).

Antalya Green Hub in Turkey by Alper Derinboğaz, Salon

Thursday, April 14th, 2016

Recently Antalya is under a rapid transformation like many other cities in Turkey. These quick transformations usually aim segregated mediocre urban projects rather than balancing the benefits of different actors. Although there are many possibilities for a city like Antalya with much diverse qualities such as forests, sea, history, tourism and culture most of the renovation projects are enclosed mediocre worlds that rather try to exist within their limited environment.

Friday, April 8th, 2016

Article source: Bergmeisterwolf architekten

Architecture is a project of development; it’s about inquiring, exploring new ground, about experimentation. It’s working with the landscape, trying to find integration with the material, with proportions. It’s about understanding pictures, their impacts and coloring. For us this process starts from the context and is culturally determined.
