Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017

Article source: Orange Obras Civiles

“Casas Catalinas” are family homes located in Rio Ceballos, along the Córdoba mountain range and away from the city. They set up in 5000 square-foot lands.

The project seeks to provide home solutions to middle class young families that have access to social loans provided by the state. These 1185 square-foot houses have a limited budget and the main guidelines have to do with lively rooms, austere and detail less design, reducing construction costs.

CW apartment in Trento, Italy by BURNAZZI FELTRIN ARCHITECTS

Friday, November 10th, 2017

Article source: BURNAZZI FELTRIN ARCHITECTS

CW apartment is located in an area on the south part of Trento, a green and rural cameo nestled inside the urban pattern. The flat is set in a new row house surrounded by fields mostly of which are apple orchards. Nearby a farm house, from the end of the nineteenth century, together with some one storey single family houses, recently built, marks out a low population density area. The furnishing project concerns both the day area and the night one, set on the same level: the ground floor. The family, which consists of three members, expressed to the designers the double need to stay with family, cooking or relaxing, and to share convivial moments with many friends during the weekend; the dining table and the kitchen are situated on the best windowed side of the apartment: the one towards the garden. The custom made furniture of the day area creates an efficient and versatile space, flexible to the different living needs; the fireplace, visible from all of the day area, designs an intimate space, relaxing and cozy.

La Barquière is a 62-housing project located in the 9th district of Marseille (France). The urban neighbourhood offers to the project a unique setting. Drawn in keeping with its context, this project respects all the family owner wishes. The owner wanted to keep the old building dated from the 18th century. The existing old building and the wooded environment proximity forced the project to become part of a complex height.
