The design is based on three rectangular forms arranged in such a way so as to create the sense of opposing movement.
The first rectangular form is grounded in the site and orientated on an east west axis. The 2nd and 3rd rectangular forms are elevated above and positioned side by side one another in a north south axis – one heading with purpose towards the ocean, with the other having its sight set on the golf course fairway in the opposite direction. The sense of movement on the upper level is created by intentional horizontal lines and cantilevers projected towards their respective targets.
The Project is a Synagogue and Community Center for the NBI Community, and it includes a Synagogue, Offices and Meeting Rooms for religious and cultural activities. It houses all the activities of the Community, generally meetings and gatherings of about 300-400 people.
Located on the leeward side of Cape Cod the Indian Neck spit is the location of this Modernist inspired beach house. Nestled in pine forest and sand dunes looking out to the open water the house is designed to experience seasonal vitality of the location. A simple square of protected habitation, combining indoor and outdoor space under a canopy of lattice Cedar; existing Pitch Pines grow up through the structure providing additional shade. Raised up off the sand, the platform of the house becomes the stage on which a basic set of rooms are arranged, with the principle spaces focused across the broad veranda to Cape Cod Bay. A separate bunk-house with a partially enclosed outdoor shower protects the entrance from the rigors of wind and rain. On the sides of the house angled cedar boards are providing privacy and shade from the rising and setting sun.
Maria Antonia Street is a historical reference for the University of São Paulo and a mark in the cultural and political life of the city. As the address of the Mackenzie College since the end of the 19th century, the Maria Antonia Street became a catalyser of academic and social discussions after the establishment of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters at the Rui Barbosa Building, on 1949.
After a violent invasion of the building, by a group of right wing students, escorted by the police in 1968, the Faculty of Philosophy was transferred to the campus of the University (Cidade Universitária).

The project brief required the provision of a working space and a sleeping area in a 10m2 room of a ground floor apartment at an “Altbau” building in Friedrichshain, Berlin.
The 3.40m height of the room allowed the sleeping area to be located at the top part, leaving the ground floor free for a generous workspace.
The clients wanted the staircase to the mezzanine to be comfortable and sturdy, but with a light appearance.
Ideally to be used also as a bookshelf for few books.

This is a study of a house in its true context, instead of its idealized context—real nature instead of romantic nature.
It is a conceptual project that started out as a real one. A great client in California found our Seattle firm online, and hired us to design him a new house to replace one that had burned down in one of the increasingly frequent wildfires here in the West.
Manchester-based architecture and interior design practice 74 has completed a major project to extend and remodel a Grade II-listed, two-storey, Victorian brick building in a semi-rural location in Englefield Green, just outside Egham. The repurposed 453 sq m building – Hox Haus – will serve as the central focus, clubhouse and social amenity for Hox Park student campus, newly-created by developers Moorfield Group for students attending Royal Holloway, University of London.
The new campus is located within a larger, 67-acre mixed-use site, owned by Royalton Group. Its Surrey location, near Runnymede, where Magna Carta was once signed, lent the site its name: Magna Carta Park. The Hox Park campus is one aspect of an overall masterplan for the site that also includes affordable and luxury housing, as well as an AudleySenior Living village.
Under the impact of modern urbanization, the decline of rural areas has become an unavoidable reality. Mix Architecture was commissioned by Jiangshan Fishing Village in Gaochun of Nanjing to meet the basic needs of indigenous peoples for modern functions and cultural life, and formulated a rural renewal plan. It is hoped that from the perspective of the “man” of the village origin, the small fishing village on the shore of Gucheng Lake will be changed by using fragmented transformation and construction.
The first phase of the Jiangshan Fishing Village Renewal Plan consists of two parts, namely the renovation of the vacant old homes and the construction of rural public facilities.
The project base, which is located in the DaXi Mountain Phoenix Range out of the Beijing west sixth ring road, consists of two neighboring private houses with their own independent courtyards. To the south of the base lies a big orchard, through which visitors can enjoy a splendid view of the mountain. The proprietor, who wants to build the whole place into a kind of private restaurant, entrusts Nazodesign Studio to conduct an all-directional innovation renovation on the houses with respect to their inside and outside construction and decoration as well as the landscape surrounding them.
The Issa Megaron project is dealing with questions regarding the context of the site boundary, envisioned on the plot that is read as a ‘’void ‘’, blank space- deception is that context is non -existent. The assignment was to design a house for a temporary family retreat on a site without infrastructure, at the same time completely satisfying the needs of the user .
Given that the “genius loci” is not only the plot an island of Vis but actually Mediterranean, we conceive the house by the system of the Socrates Megaron, reinterpreting the ancient stone drywalls and creating a new rural man-made topography using simple construction technologies.
