The intercity bus terminal was designed on the way to Aksaray, 5km away from the city center , due to the existing bus terminal’s incompatibility to handle the needs. The convenience of the linkage to the local road of Nigde and to the city center were the reasons why this area is preferred.

The design for Olga Nur Restaurant is set from the definition of many ambiances with goals to enhance its openness and integration with the street and, at the same time, to promote a clear distinction between an intimate interior, with special lighting, and an informal exterior – tables by the sidewalk and sheltered spaces with fabric pergolas -, inviting people who stroll in Lourdes – where the best bars and restaurants of Belo Horizonte are placed – to come in.

A new commercial art gallery was carved from the shell of a derelict bulldozer repair shop in the old Finning industrial complex. The design process was more of an archaeological excavation than a traditional renovation, stripping away layers of grime to showcase the tough bones of the 1963 concrete block building.

A new residential building up to 70 metres in height and including 114 apartments is added to the existing Ter Meulen shopping building in Rotterdam. This is an unusual project as the new building literally rests on the columns and foundations of the existing structure. The only additions are a pair of concrete lift shafts which also provide stability.

Like many other cities in China, Hefei is undergoing a rapid transformation. The original urban fabric was torn apart and discarded, replaced by giant blocks of anonymous structures and forms. The present Hefei is just a fleeting moment on its relentless march toward the future. So, we call it a “Momentary City”.
