Article source: Mei architects and planners

After a very fast construction period of only two months a spectaculair new pavilion shines in the heart of Rotterdam. Mei architects and planners designed this new McDonald’s pavilion on Coolsingel Rotterdam. The former kiosk was once voted the ugliest building in Rotterdam and no longer reflected the wishes and ambitions of either McDonald’s and the city of Rotterdam.

Loft in Bratislava, Slovakia by RULES architects

July 12th, 2015 by Sumit Singhal

Article source: RULES architects

The interior of the three room loft has been designed to underline the main advantages of lofts – ease, casualness andspace. Visible elements of the steel structure of the roof add industrial character to the loft whereas natural materials make it cosy.In spite of the trendy daytime area the layout of the loft designated for family of 4 is rational and practical. The daytime zone consists of a hall, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. The night zone has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet.

Green Core in Kuwait BY AGi architects

July 12th, 2015 by Sumit Singhal

Article source: AGi architects

Green Core is a small residential building set in the Adailiya neighborhood in Kuwait City.
The project is composed of 6 apartments at about approximately 350 sqm each, and is accessed through an open core that divides the plot into two defined areas: front and rear. This core void is the key element in the design of the residence. It allows for natural light to filter in through the mesh and into the interior spaces as it provides the dense complex with a sizeable open space. It serves as common grounds enhancing the social living experience as the rest of the program falls into place around it. The green mesh that encases the space softens the penetrating light and harsh climate of the Arabian Gulf, allowing for a pleasant ambience while hosting fertile grounds for vegetation to grow into a small garden.

Advertising Apartement Senopati in Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia by Delution Architect

July 12th, 2015 by Sumit Singhal

Article source: Delution Architect

“Advertise Yours!” is  a suitable slogan for the occupants of the apartment, because the owner is a CEO of a company engaged in the field of Advertising. Architects tried to explore the character and applying it to the interior design of its Apartment Residence 8 ‘s. Trying to find symbol of advertising, architects find the image in the form of billboards along the streets of Tokyo and the Americans who made the architect took the shape and position of the board into the shape of furniture back and forth with the basic shapes such as cubes and blocks billboards. But what may represent advertise on the residents themselves? Architects then use a mirror as a symbol of the client’s family that can be advertised from himself. Mirror as a symbol of self – advertised as well as an addition to reaching effects on the apartment interiors. In addition to digging philosophical form, the architects also gave memorable touch warm and woody tone through vinyl materials that resemble wood and tacosheet and tone beige walls and floor, of course equipped with warmlight yellow to create a good impression for residents and family separate.
