Article source: Atelier About Architecture

Located in the Xinyuanli district in Beijing, SUNNI 67 is a private kitchen featuring fresh ingredients and exquisite culinary skills.

The idea of the design is to create a space about flavors that allows people to peacefully enjoy wonderful food from the bustling city. Inspired by In Praise of Shadows by Japanese writer Junichiro Tanizaki, the architect tries to explore the connection between taste and vision to create a space that is “melting dimly, dully back, deeper and deeper”.

The Origin of Texture | C House in Guangdong, China by AD ARCHITECTURE

May 13th, 2018 by Sumit Singhal

Article source: AD ARCHITECTURE

Life is like a drama, during work-time, we’re trying our best to play various roles with different people and things in each scene, after returning home, what we want is to enjoy a stage that only belongs to ourselves.

Most of the houses nearby are decorated in a luxurious style, while after communicating with the owner, the designers made a new attempt through an advanced and restrained design technique. With the origin of texture as the design concept, they tried to convey the owner’s desire for an original state of life by different textures, and let him return to a comfortable and natural living environment.

Qingdao Wanda Victoria Bay Xifeng Bridge in China, Landscape Design by PT Landscape

May 13th, 2018 by Sumit Singhal

Article source: PT Landscape

The concept of Xifeng Bridge is the spread-open wings of a phoenix, which is an auspicious bird and a symbol of peace and harmony. The ancients believed that phoenix would fly over if the world is in peace and prosperity. The oracle of “Feng” is like the oracle of wind, meaning the omnipresent and spiritual power of wind.”Huang” is pronounced like the “Emperor” in Chinese, meaning the supreme power. Therefore, phoenix is also the symbol of Chinese imperial power, and is usually paired with dragon, which is a symbol of lucky and harmony.
