Bienenhaus #3 in Canale d’Agordo, Italy by archMaDe | Massimiliano Dell’Olivo architetto

Monday, May 11th, 2015

Article source: archMaDe | Massimiliano Dell’Olivo architetto

Introduction

I have always seen in the community life of bees an urban instruction; something that is very close to the motto \”unity is strength\”.
A Bienenhaus is also this: a macro-structure can accommodate more living cells.
The teaching must have come from the comb itself in those early beekeepers who decided to protect their hives in these small buildings.
