Mesa Nápoles Food hall in Ciudad de México, Mexico by ESTUDIO ATEMPORAL

Tuesday, July 12th, 2016

Article source: ESTUDIO ATEMPORAL

Mesa Napoles is a gastronomic space in the crossing between Kansas St. and New York St. at Colonia Napoles.

The Project is a response to the low gastronomic offer in the zone and has the intention of becoming both a landmark and a meeting point.

Occuping the low level and first floor almost in their entirety, the intervention of this space responds to the principle of creating visual and physical permeability between the establishment and the exterior.

Tuesday, June 28th, 2016

Article source: GARZA IGA ARQUITECTOS

Bake Darling is a new franchise concept in Mexico focused on selling all kinds of pastry-related products, the variety of articles they handle , their forms and uses forced us to create a design concept in which they could be arranged in a more efficient and orderly manner, being that the display space was very scarce. Hidden forms, wooden elements and light draw attention to onlookers and customers alike attracting many kinds people into the store, almost no one leaves without buying a guilty pleasure or two.

Mitre house in Mexico by Garza Iga Arquitectos

Friday, June 3rd, 2016

Article source: Garza Iga Arquitectos

This house was conceived from the start to be sold as an investment for a client. The interior layout is very commercial. But we wanted to make something different, something that stood out from the rest of the houses in the neighborhood. We chose to design a house that would be built quickly making the construction cheaper. The construction process can be summarized in three basic steps.

Hotel Mar Adentro in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico by Miguel Angel Aragonés

Sunday, May 22nd, 2016

Article source: Miguel Angel Aragonés

The first time I visited this property and took in the desert and the diaphanous, clear water running along a horizontal line in the background, I felt the enormous drive of water under a scorching sun. This piece of land, located in the middle of a coastline dotted with “All Inclusives,” would have to be transformed into a box that contained its own sea –practically its own air– given the happy circumstance that the universe had created a desert joined to the sea along a horizontal line. It was the purest, most minimalist landscape a horizon could have drawn. On either side, this dreamlike scenery collided with what humans consider to be aesthetic and build and baptize as architecture. I wanted to draw my own version, apart from the rest.
