The sports pavilion with an area of 113 m2 was built in the suburbs of Saint Petersburg in 2015. The project is notable not only for its elegant architectural forms but also for unique building technologies used during its construction process.
The architects were faced with a task to design a complete sports facility within an existing suburban landscape and limited space. As a result, the pavilion became part of the landscape and the landscape became part of the pavilion: only 30 m2 of the forest grounds were allowed for construction with all of the trees preserved and integrated into the interior of the building.

The ice skating rink is located on a natural lake in the Kamchatka peninsula, Russia. Kamchatka is positioned high in the mountains surrounded by volcanic terrain, nearby nature reserves, hot springs and scenic routes through the peninsula make the area popular with tourists and locals.
The lake is exposed to bright daylight with winter temperatures averaging 20 F, ensuring the lake stays frozen over the winter months, the ice rink uses photovoltaic cells to generate an electrical current in order to freeze the lake throughout the year or when needed for ice hockey tournaments, the rink is flooded from below the surface to keep it frozen and strengthen the ice. The project is multi-purpose, with an outdoor cinema and a natural geothermal spa, the design intends to reflect the fluid nature and ever changing state of the immediate environment. Geothermal turbines are also used to keep the lake at a frozen temperature and provide an energy source for the cinema. The precipitous mountain range has many natural hot springs and skiing ranges.

The house and surrounding landscape form one strong unit. The terrace overhangs the pond. Garage and maintenance building are constructed as a hill with a park above. The hill conceals terrace from the road. All the inner house facades are made from water resistant and super strong merbau wood. The outer contour is a frame of Jurassic stone (!!!!).Windows are equipped with extendable wooden jalousie. They allow light through and give sense of privacy at the same time. The interior is the same color scheme as the facade: red wooden and grey-beige stone shades. The architects developed interior and construction parts, starting from the door knobs to magnificent dominate staircase. The upper light fixtures open the interior to sun beams.
